Beacon Fostering Are Recruiting Foster Carers in Stoke-on-Trent

On Wednesday 14th May, members of Beacon Fostering’s recruitment team will be attending a job’s fair, led by The Bridge, held at Bet 365 Stadium in Stoke.

At Beacon Fostering, we are focused on improving the national shortage of foster carers across the country and are travelling to Stoke with the aim of recruiting more foster carers.

In 2024, Stoke-on-Trent had a notably high rate of children looked after (CLA), with 191 per 10,000 children—well above the national average of 70 per 10,000. Across England, the total number of CLA stood at 83,630, showing little change from the previous year.
