Beacon Fostering Secure Sponsorship With Local Football Club

We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to sponsor local grassroots football team in Manchester, Withington Wanderers F.C.

Withington Wanderers F.C. are a new, grassroots football team located very close to our head office in Manchester and is a club that we feel embodies a good community spirit and a drive to support and better individuals as well as having a real focus on togetherness.

At Beacon Fostering, we are always looking to support local charities and community businesses including grassroots sports teams and we felt that Withington Wanderers were a great fit following a meeting with their club Chairman Karthik.

Sponsoring Withington Wanderers follows the creation of Beacon Sporting Chance, an initiative which aims to give every child and young person a chance to enjoy sport, with Beacon Fostering agreeing to pay for any equipment or club fees needed for our foster children to partake in the sport of their choice.
